Information about the Cottages
The four cottages are set within the grounds of a beautiful listed 16th century thatched farmhouse. Each of the cottages at South Coombe is individual and has been restored from old farm buildings to a high standard with modern facilities. Each of the cottages has its own designated garden area with places to sit and barbecue.
All our guests are given a warm welcome and served a home-made Devon cream tea on arrival. We can also provide freshly baked organic bread and croissants which we deliver warm to your cottage. What a great way to start the day!
South Coombe can also offer breakfast and evening meals in the farmhouse using only local produce whenever possible. All food is freshly prepared therefore 24 hours notice is required if you wish to make a booking.
All the cottages benefit from the following facilities:
- Wood burning stove (except Jonquil Cottage) – initial fuel included, thereafter available at cost
- TV and DVD (surround sound in Saffi's Cottage)
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- Fridge
- Duvets with linen and towels
- Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer
- Cot and high chair on request
