South Coombe Farm Bed & Breakfast

We can offer Bed & Breakfast in our 400 year-old listed farmhouse surrounded by 15 picturesque and tranquil acres of Devon countryside.

Bed & Breakfast visitors to South Coombe Farm benefit from their own private entrance to the beautiful thatched farmhouse. The guest accommodation consists of a large double room with adjoining single room, together with an en-suite shower room. Both rooms are furnished to a high standard in pine and both have beamed ceilings. Additional facilities include colour TV with video, radio alarm, tea and coffee-making facilities, mini fridge and seating area.

Guests also have their own private garden area complete with seating, the perfect place to enjoy a Devon cream tea.

We also have an indoor swimming pool (10m x 5m), a games room, a gym and a sauna which guests are able to use.

Evening meals can be provided – prior notice is required as food is freshly bought and cooked. You can also have drinks before, during and after your meal as we are licensed to serve alcohol with food.

Breakfast at South Coombe is also a special occasion as you can feast on locally sourced bacon and sausages and enjoy eggs from our own free-range rare breed and rescued battery hens. Alternatively, if you prefer something lighter, we have croissants and freshly baked organic bread, together with a selection of yogurts and fresh fruit.

We also encourage you to make the most of our 15 acres by taking a walk at some point. Don’t miss our tranquil stream, which is guaranteed to make you forget all cares and worries. Feeding time for our hens and ducks is also a popular diversion.

Finally, there is one thing we are proud of above all else at South Coombe and that is the warmth of our hospitality. We will do all we can to make your stay with us a memorable one.
